Day 5 of my water fast

Starting weight: 315 pounds. Current weight: 298 pounds.

Today is day 5 of my water fast. Today, I have officially beat my record of 5 days of water fasting! I feel absolutely fantastic! I feel really good! No tiredness, no fatigue, no loss of energy! I got some ketone test strips on Amazon, and just saw that I have high levels of ketosis in my body.

I am getting a perfect nights sleep every night so far, and impressively not sleeping in anymore! I am waking up in the morning around 7-8am feeling absolutely refreshed!

Don’t get too hung up on the keto strips. They are not really accurate and if you think about it does it really matter anyway if your losing weight.

The problem with the strips is they are measuring the wasted ketones in urine. When your body gets more adapted and therefore more efficient at using ketone it won’t make as many wasted ketones and you’ll stop seeing them in your urine. You’ll still be in ketosis but your body will only be making what it is actually using.
