CICO, IF, and calorie/macro cycling has been what worked for me. I’m usually 16:8, sometimes 20:4. I basically can’t let my routine stay the same for too long if I want to keep progressing.
I’m 43f, 5’8” - starting weight around 265lb and now 175lb. The loss of 90lb has taken place over 6 years, the last stretch has been losing what I gained due to a serious injury and general pandemic crap. I weighed 215lb on January 1 of this year, so 40lb gone in 2021.
I do IF and OMAD, ADF, and 72hour fasts.
I eat clean Keto as much as possible. I stopped drinking coffee and sodas. I drink water with electrolytes as much as I can. I also like green tea and ACV lemon juice or lime juice and Mio and liquid stevia. Take sea salt and lite salt and magnesium. I also do lemon juice with water when I want something different.
I try to eat less than 10 grams of carbs a day when I do eat OMAD. I try to maintain a deficit of calories to help with weight loss.
I follow the other macros for me personally calculated from here https://calculo.io/keto-calculator I calculate my macros using a sedentary setting with a 20% deficit.
In my first month I started Keto WOE. Then after a week or two I added OMAD. In my second month July, I added in 72 and 48 hour fasting. I eat OMAD when I eat no matter how long my fast ends up. Now in August I do 72 hour fasts and 48 hour fasts during the week. I eat OMAD on weekends with Keto WOE.
I have been loosing weight since June 7th. I am now down 38 pounds as of yesterday. I am always afraid of stalling. I try to keep things mixed up to prevent stalling.
I also walk for an hour on my treadmill every day I can.
I am 53 years old. 5ft 6in CW is 191
