First Timer

How y’all doing? Im 26 5’10” and about 380 lbs. I’m looking for tips and motivation on fasting for someone in my position. I’ve fasted for 2 days straight and felt absolutely fine. It’s getting to the point to where its really affecting my health and I guess i need help with discipline and maintaining the fast. If someone could help me with how to maintain the fast or how to set up a feeding schedule i would really appreciate it. I’m getting a 2.2 L water bottle next week and im hopping to do at least a 48-72 hr fast. I’m a bit of a heavy drinker and have had a bit of trouble stopping. Though I been cutting down on it recently but drink about 2-4 times a week. I also smoke weed and play video games. None of which are good for ones health. Any help would be appreciated.

It’s not the fast that’s affecting your health, it’s the booze. You’re losing all the electrolytes by drinking alcohol. You need electrolytes (snake juice) while fasting. Plain water only works for a couple days.

Lose the booze and do at least one 72. Switching smoking weed to vaping and you should be fine.

I am much older than you are, but we are very similar in height and weight. I started doing rolling fasts on November 1, and as of today I have lost 53 pounds. I have been documenting this process on YouTube.

I hope you manage to find a system that works well for you, doing the rolling fasts is really working great for me, so far. I am so encouraged by the results, I am going to stick with it.
