Answer

I currently weigh myself daily, and put it in a spreadsheet that averages it over 7 days, so it’s easier to see my progress even with daily fluctuations.

Normally the daily weigh in motivates me to keep going and keeps me on track. Partly because I get very excited about losses, but also because I overestimate my progress often, and it keeps me realistic and sticking to my program. But now my progress is slowing down and I’m getting discouraged when the scale doesn’t move.

I’m wondering about weighing myself less, but can’t seem to bring myself to do it, lol. I’m curious and hopeful every morning and want to know!

Answer

I personally felt like daily was taking a toll on my mental health. I tried doing it once a week but felt it wasn’t accurate enough… so now I do it twice a week. Typically at least one of them shows a decrease in weight from the previous week!

Answer

I weigh in at the same time every day. It helps me make a plan for the day. I’m at my ideal weight, so if I went up a pound or two, I will know to cut back and be more careful. If I went down or am at the right number, I know I can maybe indulge a little bit of I feel the urge.
