IF stalling in winter? Winter woes…

37yo male, 5’11”, CW: 185. Struggling with some discouragement. I’ve been trying to behave with Christmas cookies, trying to uptick my exercise (weighted backpack, cycling, erg machine at least 3 times a week), and keep up with at least 16/8 5 days a week, including one OMAD. Yet I am not losing like I was over the summer. I don’t think it’s merely adding muscle from the exercise either; I just think I’m stalling out. Is this a seasonal thing with colder weather? Should I swap up my exercise? Any advice to re-kickstart the weight loss? Thanks!

Answer

How much more weight are you aiming to lose? Your height, weight and physical activity suggest that you might be pretty optimally built at the moment! I would expect that your body is adjusting accordingly.

Answer

It would be a lot easier to determine what’s happening if you could include your starting weight, when you started stalling, how many calories you take in, what kind of foods you eat, what you eat on your cheat day (calories included), and if your getting a lot of rest.
