so ive been fasting 18-6 / 20-4 every day for the past week. i heard online that its not good for your body to fast every single day and you should stick to only 3ish days of fasting per week.
is this true and should i be worried about it? will it affect my metabolic health?
It is not true. As long as you’re getting the nutrients you need, it is perfectly fine to do 16:8, 20:4, or even OMAD every day. Spending more time each day with insulin in a low fasting state is good for your metabolic health, because it improves your insulin sensitivity.
