Answer

I find that it works really well to plan your meals well in advance prior to breaking your fast. Only buy the groceries that you need for your meals. And preferably, try to have the meals be something you have to put together vs them being pre-packaged/pre-made. I have been doing rolling fasts for over a month now, and this by far has made it easier to not binge eat.

Also, I don’t know what your window for eating on your eat days is, but for me, doing 16:8 works the best. Because I don’t feel the need to cram in everything that I want to have at once. If I have a craving for something, I don’t feel like it’s end-all-be-all with whether or not I get to eat it. 16:8 on an eat day allows me the time to eat what I want without feeling the need to over-indulge. I honest feel like it is fixing my eating habits. Now, instead of craving unhealthy foods, I crave healthier, balance meals. But if I happen to really want a cookie or a little ice cream or something like that, I’ll have it. And I don’t feel guilty about it :)
