Hey, this is going to sound pretty stupid. I’m an amatuer boxer, the lowest I’ve been is 74.9kg for a day but tbh that was dehydration. I was floating around 77-78kg this time last month but now I never seem to be below 79. I run 3-5 times a week averaging atleast 5 kilometres per run at a decent pace (8:00min/mile, train at a gym doing strength and conditioning twice a week then my three sessions boxing.
Obviously alongside my 18:6 fasting. I don’t seem to be losing any weight recently if anything putting it on. I’m trying to identify why this is and if anythings changed in my diet.
I don’t drink full fat sugar drinks if anything a diet coke or two every few days and the only supplements I really take pre or post workout is BCAA’s and Glutamine both of which don’t cause weight gain.
Do you think I’m overlooking the simple solution and I should just start tracking my calories in?
Maybe try to track your calories for about 3 days, see where you land and then see if you’re potentially overeating during your eating window. If you are, the fix is simple, just cut some calories each day
