OMAD and working out

Does anyone have any experience with one meal a day and strength training? How did it impact your performance? I have been doing 16/8 for 2 years almost non stop but have been watching all these vids about 1 meal daily and primitive stuff and it unlocking your inner cave man and all this other stuff…. Thoughts?

Answer

I have no problem doing strength training 4 times a week and HITT 2 times a week. I do my workouts in the morning usually around 6 AM and break my fast around 1:30. I feel a lot better working out in a fasted state and surprisingly my strength and cardiovascular has gone up. I burn on average 600 calories per workout, main thing is to get a adequate amount of calories.
