I’ve been meal prepping for about a month with meals like in the picture. My diet consist of a protein snack for breakfast, mealprep for lunch, after workout protein shake and mealprep dinner. Don’t really have a goal but want to keep my current weight. I’m 32M 5’8” 145lbs. I try to exercise for 30 min everyday and play soccer twice a week. How do I know if im getting enough calories/nutrition?
I’m autistic, and my diet is severely limited. I’m unable to eat most foods, including fruits and vegetables, and I’m worried about my nutrition.
I plan to re-try some foods to see if I can eat more, but I’m not very optimistic overall. The last few times I’ve tried stuff I knew I wouldn’t like, it didn’t go well. I really wish I could eat more than my safe foods, but most of the time, I can’t even physically get it past my mouth. It’s 100% a texture thing and not a taste thing at all.
I just wanna know if there’s any multivitamins that are actually good and can help me fill in the blanks in my diet. I know it’s not a substitute for eating more foods, but it would be better than nothing, and I wanna do all I can in addition to giving more foods a try. Any recommendations?
Hi, I live in the UK and I recently started to see an expensive PT who told me they’re also a qualified nutritional therapist. My issue is that some of the things I see them say and write seem a bit quack in tone and the meal plan they’ve asked me to do, which said to cut out even dairy in the form of sheep or goat cheese (to use vegan cheese instead), seems very restrictive, bland and like it’s likely lacking in many nutrients and food groups.I just wondered if anyone who is here would be willing to take a quick look at it and tell me if this is actually all bad advice I shouldn’t be following and if it’s going to end up being harmful to my body?
Thanks in advance
Is it normal to feel pissed off, bummed, exhausted, and anxious when on a 600 cal deficit for over two months? While lifting heavy 3x a week?
My macros are pretty good but I think this cut is just destroying me mentally and physically. I’m not used to cutting, I’ve always maintained when lifting for years. I’ve lost about 20 pounds in 2 1/2 months and although I love how I’m looking, I’m super depressed, really sad, then angry, then anxious and awkward, etc. I’m usually a pretty stable dude.
Can cutting calories by 600 or so really do this much to you?
Is prolonged and excessive caffeine intake bad for my heart? I’ve been drinking a lot of caffeine lately, feel fine, mild headache if I go off it for a day. I don’t really mind being addicted to it unless it’s going to cause damage to my body in the long term. The most I’ll consume in a day is around 600mg, I’ll sometimes go over that but it’s rare. I know it can be good in moderation but I’m exceeding what I’ve read to be the recommended amount of 400mg.
