Snake Diet got me off caffeine! Dizzyness and Electrolyte troubleshooting question...

On my second round of rolling 72’s with snake juice. I’ve been drinking coffee every day for about a decade. Monday I didn’t have caffiene, I felt tired in the morning, slept an extra two hours mid-morning, and I’ve felt just fine ever since. Pretty cool! Nice to have something I don’t need to pay for.

I’m doing 7.2k potassium, 4.9k sodium (2tsp salt, 2.75 tsp no-salt) and 240mg magnesium (supplement) in 64 oz water. I do work out 3x a week or more, just lifting weights for about 30min. I don’t notice a significant difference with my lifting.

I’m feeling dizzy when I stand up, briefly, then I feel normal from there, near the 30 hour mark all the way through to 72 hours when I break the fast. Measured my glucose as low as 52. Below 70 is normal and you are supposed to go to the hospital at that point, given mainstream advice.

I would like to not be dizzy when I stand up. Maybe I need to do more sodium?

Answer

My glucose drops as low as 32 and people are shocked how I’m still standing. But it’s always been that way for me all my life. I don’t think you need to go to the hospital.

I don’t know what to advise about the dizzyness. Could be because of caffeine and sugar withdrawal. Headaches are also common in that case.

anyways. If you follow coles snake juice recipe to a T or order the premixed electrolyte packets online you should be fine with the salts and no need to increase.

Answer

Quitting caffeine during fasting is no joke. Withdrawal symptoms are pretty strong so during this period id say keep going, more than the fasting it maybe the no caffeine that is causing you trouble. I am a heavy coffee drinker and I usually stop for 2-3 month periods because I know its bad lol I feel much better without coffee but eventually I always go back. Now I’m in a coffee period but I am preparing to quit again (I start decreasing the amount of daily cups).
