Stopped IF after loosing too much weight but keep going down

First of all gotta thank you all for the advice you provide after posting my progress pic, going from 83kg to 68kg in one year, most of you told me to stop IF and start eating better and do some strength training, that was just a month ago, but even after start eating better and stop IF my weight kept going down 66,5kg today, I’m pretty worried because I don’t want to keep going down anymore, and lots of people around me told me they were happy at the beginning but now they are worried that I lost too much weight, I know this advice is opposite to what lots of you usually help, but really want to get to a better weight for my health and wellbeing, stopped IF completely two weeks ago, and started eating better (just kept eating a lot of hot sauce, fermented foods and drinking black plain coffee that was part of the IF routine) so if you have any advice is appreciated also will help anyone struggling with their IF journey to get some recommendations that will help with their weight lost.

Answer

If everything is same, and your calorie intake is higher. Then maybe get checked out.

Idk what this sub believes. But doing IF doesnt mean you eat poorly. You still eat for nutrition and proper healthy meals. You are supposed to “eat better” during IF too or for that matter any fad diets. It’s just restricting within healthy limits and not overdoing it.

I’d take any “eat less” advice on these subs with a grain of salt tbh. Too much advice is on the eating disorder end. Be careful, get yourself checked. As long as you dont overeat, meet your nutrition goals, you should be good with your dietary needs.

Answer

If you want to maintain your weight and not lose any more, you should eat more than you’re eating now. You need to match your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure — the number of calories it will take you to maintain your weight). I don’t know what you usually eat, but I would suggest adding more healthy fats as an easy way to add calories to bring you up to your TDEE. Things like nuts, olive oil, avocados.
