0 Desire To Pass Stool Day 7 OMAD

Ok so if I’m reading this right this is where questions or concerns go. Im a skinny guy with a beer gut and I hate it. I started on Saturday. OMAD. I know that’s a little extreme but I was basically already doing that but instead of one larger meal I was snacking through out the day. Drinking a TON of water and honestly kind of loving it in a weird way. Hunger pangs are less of a concern and more of a motivator… but…

I haven’t shit in at least 3 days. Maybe 4. I honestly cannot remember. Like I haven’t felt the urge even. I’m taking no supplements and cannot think of why. I’m not in any pain or anything so I haven’t gotten concerned enough to go to my doctor.

Any advice?

Edit:

OK. Based on what I’ve read here. I am going to stop doing OMAD and just go back to normal eating habits temporarily so that I can do more research first. Definitely want those pounds to shed but not enough to go into this half cocked and risk hurting myself.

Cheers everybody.

Answer

Magnesium helps with that. A few hundred MGs will get things going, and actually helps with sleep (for me at least).

Don’t have the study on hand, but I’ve seen research suggesting that IF can sometimes deplete magnesium faster than other micros and electros.

One bit of advice: add Metamucil or plain psyllium husk to your diet, 5-10 grams/day. There’s a ton of research that it helps significantly with blood sugar and insulin resistance, and of course it helps you poop.
