16:8

I’m doing 16:8 fasting. My brkfast consists of an eggwhite with carrots and tomatoes and fat free curd. My lunch and dinner is 60gm oats with 2 different types of veggies and about 60gms of chicken. But still I’m only losing about 3.5 kilos per month. I’ve been doing IF for 2 months now.

I looked at your post history. You’re young, 5’ 9“ and about 94kg/209 lbs. Is that right? If so, you’re not going to need to worry about loose skin.

But you do need to be aware that the food you are feeding yourself is not going to power your brain enough for exams. You need some healthy fats. Some olive oil, some fish. And you do need to move your body so your memory improves for exams. Exercise is a key to learning, retaining, and retrieving information. Don’t get so focused on losing weight that you harm your ability to do well on exams.

Answer

Maybe try adding in some fat - egg whites, low fat curd, chicken - that could actually make your body think you’re starving. Low carb, high fat and 16:8 worked great for me but I had to get the fat up before I started losing any pounds.
