About to start my fast, looking for tips, tricks, and advice.

Hey guys I’m new here and I want to know what motivates you, what keeps you going, and what to expect. Also what supplements if any and why?

I have a lot of baby fat to loose and I am done nursing and I want to feel more energized and get rid of all this inflammation.

I just gave up coffee for my new years resolution and its been successful. I feel like I can do anything now and I am ready to test that.

For myself, my motivator was the visual fat on my belly.

Supplements: Salt (pink or redmond real, or celtic sea salt), potassium and magnesium (those 2 if going 4-5 or more days)

Refeeding: Start with a couple eggs (cook whites, leave yokes as raw as possible) or a bowl of bone broth. Wait half an hour after finishing, then a normal high fat, low or no-carb meal. Eating carbs after fasting will cause you to gain back all the water weight lost as well as trigger more insulin than non-carbs which is the fat storage hormone.
