Starting a fast of minimum 48 hours today and wondering if anybody else is feeling it?
I will be doing it 100% for mental benefits and reducing inflammation in my body.
Gonna do it different this time and set a bunch of mental and physical goals to accomplish during the fast so it’s just not about the fast itself but accomplishing a lot of great things at the same time.
I was literally just thinking about doing this. But I’ve never fasted on a work day. Do you guys really fast and work at the same time? When I’ve fasted in the past I get so antsy and tired it sounds really damn challenging lol
I started a 10 day fast yesterday. Was barely able to do a 10 day fast last and ended up feeling shitty quickly because I didn’t let my body acclimatize properly. Hoping to do it right this time around
Starting another fasting journey today. Like the other long term fasts I’ve done, I’m going to take it one day at a time. My plan is to take it out to 40 days. Had my last feed at 1AM today. I need to break the vicious cycle i’m stuck in, drop a couple of pounds, get my blood pressure and blood sugar under control, and come back to a mental and spiritual center.
I’m around 30 hours in now… its pretty tough now. I’m drinking some oolong tea, will take a bath (this helped distract me last time) and will head to bed. I’ll put on some episode of “my 600lb life” to strengthen my resolve.
I stopped fasting for a year due to inconsistent fasting i did, and yesterday i started my fasting again and i did 18 hours!
I’m hoping to lose weight and fat through fasting and eating less so hopefully i can continue the path
I’m fasting right now, currently at about 18 hrs. It’d be nice to make it to 100 hrs. That’s Saturday morning for me but never fasted more than 36 hrs.
I never understood the whole electrolytes thing, I’ve looked in CVS for the supplements and it just never made sense to me. Anyone willing to hold my hand to know what to get?
