If not how do you get your energy up in the morning?
The point of being fasted is to consume no calories, whether in the form of food or liquid. As long as what you consume has no calories you should be fine. That means black coffee is fine because it has no calories, and no sugar or cream… or calories in other beverages either.
Best to avoid everything but water / electrolytes, however if you DO need something, black coffee / tea is the way to go.

Adapting to burning fat for energy rather than glucose is a good start. This means prioritizing fatty meat rather than whole grains, potatoes, or fruit. 90 days at least to get adapted. Once there, on fasts you’ll be dripping in energy.
