• 16:8 usually start at 8pm and finish at 12pm and try to do it most days of the week

• 16 hours usually (but often more like 17.5 because of my lunch break at work)

• I want to lose weight but also think more clearly (I find fasting really helps with my brain fog)

• I am relatively new (one week in) to IF but I’ve lost 7 pounds so far and have noticed a positive change to my energy levels

Fast started yesterday at 2:30 pm and will end today at 2:30 pm (24hr) my first full day fast.I’m doing this to speed up weight loss progression. I’ve mainly been doing 16:8. Yesterday I did 20:4 before starting my 24hr fast so I deemed myself ready for a full day.

So far so good. NGL hour 5-7 was so bad. I was soo hungry. I’m guessing because I had less than 1000 calories for my one meal. But I’m in hour 18 now and have just a few more to go. I don’t feel the hunger and I’m feeling so proud of myself. My goal is 160 lb or below for my next weigh in. I’m currently 166lb and started at 176.5 lbs five weeks ago.

Having a bad start to the morning, weight is up 6 pounds from yesterday and morning blood sugar is up about 20 points from the last week average.

2 more days and I will be one month into my IF. Did break IF last night with a glass of brandy but went to bed with a BS of 110 two hours after the drink so did not think it had done any harm.

24hr Water fast with a cup of plain black tea to start my day.

Started fast around 2pm yesterday and it will end at 2pm today. I’m usually on a 18:6 plan during the week and will occasionally do 20:4 on my days off.

Right now I’m a little hungry, but it’s not a feeling of full blown hunger yet.

SW was 217 two weeks ago; I was 214 this morning! I moved from keto to including brown rice due to poverty at the moment but I’m happy to see a change anyway! It’s been mostly eating between the 4 to 5 PM mark but I keep it at 20:4 and am shrinking the time window … you know, so I don’t beat myself up too bad in the event of ingesting something after 5 XD

Due to a deep wound and stitches fresh in my hand from this last Monday, I haven’t gotten a lot of exercises outside of walks in and it relieved me to see any kind of loss since that’s got me down.

Almost through the first weekend day… ahhh, the days off work are so hard.

I have my fasting app set to time me for 20:4, but I actually do OMAD, unless I’m super hungry.

Most days I’m actually fasting more like 22:2 or 24hour fasts.

I usually have my meal for the day between 10am and 12pm.

I’m fasting as a way to control my binge eating/emotional eating, and to lose a significant amount of weight! I’ve lost 15lbs so far. 😊
