Day 5 of Fasting and Intense Muscle Pain

Hello, for the 18 years of my life so far, I have been a mix of Buffed and Chubby with a lot of muscle mass and some fat on the abdomen and other areas, I wanted to burn this fat so I was water fasting, last time I did 10 days of water fast and got fitter/better not to mention the autophagy and other health benefits, but this time as I am on my 5th day, I am noticing a lot of muscle pain in my chest and biceps/triceps, I am not exercising as I read that during high-intensity workouts, your body starts getting its energy from muscles and I’m also not doing weightlifting.

What could be the reason for this pain and soreness?

FYI I have been taking only Sodium electrolyte through Table Salt as I could not find Nu Salt and Magnesium supplements, could this be one of the reasons? But my last 10 day fast which was 15 days back, I did not take any electrolytes(Because I didn’t know they were essential) for the length of that and was fine.

Answer

I’m not too sure but on day 4 of my fast I had sore muscles as well, in my arms and calves. But they went away on day 5-6. I dont lift weights or go to the gym so this info probably not helpful but just know you weren’t alone.
