I found out that I definitely eat as a reaction to stress, so I need to figure out some new ways to handle stress that’s not food. Anybody have any good stress management practices I can do during my now empty lunch hour?

Answer

I got sick af walking too much while fasted, drank electrolytes, went to bed, and wanted to upchuck all over in the morning. Felt completely exhausted, felt too tired to breathe. 🥴

Slowly ate food throughout the next day until I felt better. Probably ate 3K calories, but then I felt normal and pretty energetic.

Lesson learned and I have no regrets!! Actually feel more motivated to continue with better self-knowledge. :)

Also, my rosacea diminished before my refeed… so that’s neat, too. I’ll have to see if I can figure out which food is causing me issues as I go along.

I’m down around 4 lbs still, despite my enormous refeed haha. 😊

Thanks for starting this! I was thinking about starting a post this morning.

I finished my first 72 hour fast last night. Had a good start to the refeed, and then binged on sugary snacks after. I am back on a 48 as Im going to try to keep the fasts rolling. Maybe after a 48, Ill have a little more control on the refeed and not binge. We will see how the next refeed goes in 36 hours.

Currently down 4 pounds and change after the refeed. Feeling pretty good so far for this fast.

I’ve been doing 16:8 and occasional omad but I definitely do get cravings every day, but I’ve been doing a very good job ignoring them. I know a few weeks into the diet and these cravings/urges will go away naturally. Been cooking at home, mostly meats, and I’m not eating out and not buying snacks like chips or candies anymore :)
