So, I started rolling 72s from 21/02 basically a week ago, doing great. All me reffeds are keto My salts mix is 60% potassium chloride and 40% sodium chloride.
First refeed, can’t remember if I took extra salts. Started to struggle to sleep, started to take melatonin before bed, taking long to sleep but sleeping okay waking up few times.
Second reffed, took about 8 grams of that salt blend during my reffed.
First day after second reffed, very thirsty, feeling that the calf is about to cramp at any moment, and headache. Toolk few salt under the tongue and it seems headache went away to back few hours later, took melatonin near to time to bed because I could feel I wasn’t going to get sleepy as my heart was strong palpitating. Went to bed around 22:30 took me a while to sleep, woke up every hour but at 3am I couldn’t sleep anymore, heart beating strong(not fast about 79bpm) , legs feeling like it will cramp, very thirsty (I think I had dreams about drinking water), I went to the kitchen and drank water with some salts + 2 250mg magnesium tablets, after about one hour I could feel my heart getting calm and my legs relaxing a bit, but still awake lining in the dark trying to sleep, after one hour legs and heart came back to same situation it was before and I gave up sleeping.
I’m male 88.5kg 180cm 35 years old about 12kg to my goal. what should I do? Crank up the salts on my reffed days? How much of my blend should I take?
Have some concentrate snake juice every day, I have no problem taking some water if needed, it won’t affect the weight loss by a noticeable amount? How much of my blend + water?
Switch to snake rolling 72s? Will be the weight loss significantly slower?
First week went flawless compared to tonight, I hate be unable to sleep and have terrible sleep quality + this cramp feeling is terrible + headaches…
About exercising I was doing nothing, but changing this today doing few stairs climbing during the day.
For today fasting I decided to drink water, will have some Snake juice, magnesium tablets, Apple cider and lime juice.
If you are having trouble maintaining 72s, why not just do rolling 48s and scale the refeed size down accordingly? Then maybe throw in a 72 every week or every two weeks or something? It’s not a race as many have said.
