I wanted to check if anyone has stomach issues with refeeds after a 72hr fast? I typically fast for 72 hr period, do an OMAD refeed and then restart the fasting again.
However I seem to constantly have stomach issues after the refeed. I typically eat some protein (meat), green veggies and have a protein shake during the refeed.
To solve my stomach issues I drink a mix of ACV lemon juice and a squirt if stevia in 16OZ of water preferably cold.
16 OZ of water
2 tablespoons of ACV
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
small squirt of stevia
I drink this 2 times a day. First thing in the morning and around dinner time. Everyday.

I used to do 2 72s a week now I do 48s.

From my own experience.I can break any fast (up to 8 days) with pretty much any food as long as I chug about 1 Liter before and 1 Liter of water right after. Helps the body to more slowly digest it.
And yes, taking a “normal” mega shit afterwards isn’t weird.
I just finished a 96 hour fast and was hesitant mentally to eat a lot as I was concerned about an upset stomach, but weirdly I was also hesitant because it felt really weird to eat something. First day I went with a beef and veggie stew and green veggie juice. Day 2 of eating, back to norm of Keto/OMAD but had a larger meal but still couldn’t eat as much as I normally do so I know I just need to pace.
