Any anxiety and shakiness was unrelated to you not eating from breakfast till lunch.
I mean, that’s just breakfast and lunch. So the question is, were you actually hungry, or did your mind freak out because you were thinking of it as a fast? That can sound condescending, but the first few days of doing omad, I had exactly this. After a bit, it became really easy to tell the difference between actual hunger and my mind just wanting food.Try some prolonged fasts and see how you react. If you’re still having issues, I’d talk to a doctor.
People who eat a lot of carbs tend to feel ‘hypoglycemic’ when they start fasting; it’s usually carb withdrawal and their blood sugar is fine. But that wasn’t a fast, and there’s no chance you were hypoglycemic. Probably just a one-off glitch. If it keeps happening, you can post a food diary and people can share their thoughts a little better.
