18:6 Starting Fast at 2PM. My new strategy. Any suggestions?

I tried doing a 6pm fast but I realized I just love milk in my coffee too much and I’d break my fast so many times I lost count. This new strategy I get my splash of Almond Milk in the morning and surprisingly has been ok since I started a week ago. Any one else doing somthing simular? Any Suggestions? My only drawback so far is our family does sitdown dinner together and this past week we were on vacation so it wasn’t a thing but going forward I’m going to have to sit with a nice tea or something while everyone else eats.

I always start my fast between 2-5 pm. For whatever reason, I just can’t last long in the mornings without food. It is so much easier to have an earlier dinner. I’m sure you’ll get used to it in no time!

This is what I do and I love it. I’m on week 2 of doing 16:8 and I fast from 2.30pm - 6.30am. I get to enjoy my coffee with half and half and don’t feel headachey or hungry in the morning when I work. Plus I get an energy boost in the afternoon after I begin my fast, which is when I used to feel the most fatigued pre-IF.

Hi, a fast at 2 pm? Wow, well if it works for you, I’d totally wouldn’t, for me it works to be asleep for my 16 hours fast, but then again I think milk in coffee is like pineapple in pizza for most xD Hope you can find your way to a pleasant experience with IF
