2 head scratchers that I've been trying to get answered.

Hi everyone! Two questions that, unfortunately, Google, YouTube searches or Reddit just couldn’t answer for me.

So I just recently learned about rolling 72’ by stumbling across one of the youtube videos of this guy named Jerome from the Finally Fasting youtube channel. In his collection he has a series where, during his refeeds, he eats enormous amounts of food before rolling into another fast, example (https://youtu.be/91rlflZt67E).

My two questions….

1st… How is he able to do this? From all of my research from Youtube videos, Google searches, Thomas Delaur, Dr Berg you’re supposed to ease into your refeed with Broth and all kinds of other Science i cant even begin to conceptualize. I’m so confused.

2nd… The F.A.Q. to this subreddit says to keep your refeed to 500 calories. Is that right?

Bonus question/Fun fact… I found all of this out at the tail end of an 80+ (ongoing) hour fast… I’m kinda afraid to eat. I Doordashed some bone broth and watermelon chunks for my refeed is this fine?

I dont have have NEVER eased into shit. This is the snake diet baby, eat big fast long. Right now i do 72s or 96s, i slame 6 or 7 heads of broccoli,.5lb of beef and some cheese on my refeeds….dropped 25lbs in 2 weeks so far. This is snake diet land, GET THAT FAT IN YA

Refeed with broth. Immediately driving into a big meal will shock your system and can lead to bad consequences.

After the broth wait 30min and if you still feel hungry have a proper meal. Try to have something with protein and fat and low in carbs. I also avoid dairy as it gives me upset stomach after fasting.

After long fasting you’ll have to go toilet in emergency doesn’t matter what you eat. I don’t eat all those silly things for starting the reffed, I go straight to eggs, charcuterie, stake and I do just fine. One running 💩 and I’m good to go. But even if you have broth you’ll have one running 💩. Eating 500 per reffed is not that sustainable.What’s the point of doing the best diet if you can’t keep for long enough?The best diet is the one you can keep for life…Do your reffed as you want and be happy.

My refeed currently is like 1 lbs. of lower carb veggies and 1 lbs. of wild game with some cheese and a handfull of grapes for dessert. Works for me. Does not work for everyone tho.

Those people that talk about 500 cal refeeds are either video bait trapping you (Delayer) or are 120 lbs wet and happy to be small and weak. Fasting doesn’t mean you’ll be bones and a freakin shrimp. Rolling 72 should include very big meals to refered properly with enough calories and nutrients.

This always goes to the same point; what works for some, doesn’t work for all. 500 cal refeeds after a 72 hour fast sounds like metabolic suicide to me, but if it works and you know how to restart your metabolism after (a completely other topic), go for it. Fast long, refeed big and CLEAN is the way I’ve done it.
