Answer

Generally speaking, no. It’s simple carbs with some fat, is high in calories, and is lacking nutrients.

BUT: If the rest of your diet is fine, I don’t see a problem with having a small cake for breakfast. If your goal is to maintain weight and this cake is not the reason that you overshoot on calories every day, and the rest of your diet is balanced enough for you to get everything you need nutritional wise, there is absolutely no reason for you to not have that cake if you enjoy it.

Food does not always have to be functional or “healthy”. Enjoying stuff is good for your mental health as well, so don’t think too much about every sweet you eat, just make sure the rest of your diet makes sense and is appropriate for your goals.

My prof always said that there are no unhealthy foods, only unhealthy diets. Therefore, in moderation, eat what makes you happy.

Answer

Sounds like you already know the answer and try to find excuses to justify eating shity foods.
Just enjoy your cake and make sure to eat a otherwise healthy diet. No reason to get hung up about it. If the cake makes you happy, go for it!
Just don’t fool yourself

Answer

It wouldn’t be considered healthy for several reasons aside from the sugar and it’s likely that it wouldn’t give you the long lasting energy and fullness required to get you through to your next meal. If you’re looking for healthy go for nutrient dense foods, these are foods with high nutritional value per calorie.
