Answer

I used to get like this when I didn’t eat. It would get really bad. It got better after I switched to a vegan diet and cut out almost all processed foods. A friend yesterday who had to fast for a medical procedure and she was being such a snappy bitch, which is totally unlike her. It reminded me of how I used to get. Her diet is full of processed “junk” foods and she snacks a ton.

Answer

Try to go 14-16hrs without food. Makes sure some of those hours are sleep hours as it’ll make things A LOT more easier. Drink carbonated lemon 🍋 water to trick your brain into thinking you’re having surgery soda. You could also drink bone broth as it too won’t break your fast. But here’s the most important thing: Once you feel yourself getting hangry and your energy turning negative to yourself and others, EAT something! Theresa ZERO need to be so serious as to jeopardize your interaction with humanity. Life is good and this should be a fun journey. I’m not saying pig out, just eat a small snack… Be thankful and grateful to life and start again. Over time, you get better at it and there may be days or weeks you are completely dialed in but for some reason the hangry temperament resurfaces. It’s a process. Enjoy it

Answer

I don’t really get hangry. But, I’ve been fasting for a billion years. It’s just what I do. I have rarely ever had more than one meal a day. I guess I’ve just trained myself to be this way? Sorry, I know this isn’t helpful.

Answer

I was a jerk before, so being sometimes hangry is not new. The only time I am really intolerable is if my wife watches me eat when I break the fast. Or picks up around me when I do it.

But in terms of minute to minute, your body absolutely gets used to whatever schedule you put it on.

I soooo need the answer for this. Yesterday i was about to commit murder at home, so i decided to have an early night in and keep mum. The next day, i was glad i didnt go berserk and chose to take the path of silence. I dont have the luxury to do this everyday!

Answer

You get used to it.

I’ve re-started IF after a hiatus, and I feel like shit. I’m hangry, I hate the world and I’d kill to have a cheeseburger. But I’ve done IF on and off in the past, and I know that I’ll get acclimatized within a week or so.

Intermittent fasting involves intentionally restricting your food intake for a set period of time, and it can be challenging to adapt to at first. Here are a few tips that may help you adjust to intermittent fasting without feeling excessively hungry:

Gradually work up to your target fasting window: If you’re new to intermittent fasting, try starting with a shorter fasting window and gradually increasing the length of your fasts over time. This can help your body adjust more gradually to the new eating pattern.

Eat satisfying, nutrient-dense meals during your eating window: Make sure to include plenty of protein, healthy fats, and fiber in your meals to help keep you feeling full and satisfied. This can help reduce hunger during your fasting periods.

Drink plenty of water: Staying hydrated can help reduce hunger and cravings, so make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Keep yourself occupied: Distracting yourself with activities such as exercise, work, or hobbies can help take your mind off of food and reduce feelings of hunger.

Don’t be too hard on yourself: It’s normal to feel hungry at times while adapting to intermittent fasting. If you do feel hungry, try to remind yourself that it’s just a temporary feeling and that it will pass.

Answer

I drink water with lemon juice and Sprite Zero! I get diarrhea real bad during fasts so extra toilet paper, no straining the hip area and beef and chicken cubes in water with teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt for electrolytes!
