I’ve been fasting consistently for the last 40 days and I’ve seen no movement on my weight. I’m practicing CICO, clean fasting, and keeping my carbs under 120 grams a day. Yet the scale won’t budge!
I’m using Zero to track my fasts. Rotating between 18:6, 20:4, and ADF once a week.
I love fasting ( mental clarity, energy, etc) but my main goal is weight loss. Small note, my initial weight loss happened on the first two weeks, then stopped.
Any tips on how to work through this?
Exercise, but also remember to be thankful for your health. I know so many people who diet and exercise and the body just does what it does at some point. I’ve been IF for three years, and I do row machine and some dumbbell work, and my weight plateau’d like a year ago and I no longer weigh myself and enjoy the health.

Did you just recently start working out or change your exercise routine significantly? If so, you may have bonus water retention going on because of it and that can last around a month or so. You’re almost my exact start stats so I relate hard, as a short woman it sometimes feel like we have zero room for error. But weigh your food and just stay the course. It’s going to happen.
