Since July I have done keto and worked out like a mule and dropped 40lb. I’m 23 and now 240lb and 6 foot 2 I haven’t done much fasting before and I’m looking at doing a 5 say fast and 2 day feeding at 1500 cal every week till I hit my goal. Is it alright to give status updates? I plan to start tomorrow and tough it out. By June I want to be at 218 minimum I’ve been dropping weight from 315lb, July to get into the marine corp. Also advice and any help would be amazing.
In the past I’ve done rolling 5 day fasts like that. Only 6 weeks worth but it was pretty easy all the way through. I was eating whatever I wanted on the weekend though.
Starting again tomorrow but plan to just eat carnivore during the weekends this time.
My only advice is to stick to keto on your eating days and to drink a lot of water throughout. The sub puts a lot of emphasis on electrolytes but I’ve only ever had bad experiences when taking them as supplements.
