What is advisable for me to eat after my 10 day fast?

Hey there guys.

I’m 5’2 & I’ll officially be done with my water fast on Saturday but I won’t eat until Sunday.

I’m going from 138 to 120.I am so proud of myself already.

It’s my first time fasting so I wanna make sure that I’m refeeding the correct way so that I won’t hurt myself as fasting is already nauseating and strenuous enough.

I know I have to slowly reintroduce food into my system so I was thinking about consuming some chicken broth and eggs.

What are some day by day foods I can eat to refeed myself without messing my digestive system up and causing pain/vomiting/ and so on?

Thank you to all who take the time to answer. 💚

Answer

The chicken broth, perhaps with some carrots and garlic, nice and slow.

A serving of 2% Greek yogurt, plain if you can stomach the sour note.

When you are feeling a bit better, a small protein shake.

Smoked salmon in the cold case. Hard boiled eggs.

If you haven’t tried it, a nonstick pan with a small amount of olive oil, high heat, 2-3 minute blanched Kale with garlic powder is amazing. It feels so hearty and suppresses hunger pains. Add an egg and some cheese.. oh bliss
