Rolling Seventy-who's

For those of you who partake in rolling 48’s and 72’s, what do u do for your refeed days? A day rehydrate/refeed or 3x’s the amount of fasting days? Snake Juice in between? Electrolyte water? Small meal?

I’m thinking of doing 72s with a 1 day rehy/refeed of plain water then bone broth, then back to it. I’d like to do longer fasts, as I’m doing this for healing, but the 7-day dry I just did has shown me that I clearly don’t yet have the discipline to properly break an extended fast. I’d love to go to a fasting resort so I can have the supervision, but I haven’t found any near enough to fit my schedule. U guys plz chime in, any and all discussion is welcome!

Answer

I’m playing with alternating dry 72s and water/sj 72s. With flexibility to split them into 36/36 or 24/48 when its convenient for social reasons. Refeed days will be focused on red meat and organ meats with some added collagen and animal based supplements.

Edit: also with alternating refeeds of omad and full day refeeds to make it a nice sustainable 7 day cycle

Here is my plan:

Refeeding for me after a 3 day fast

As much water as I want but at least 8oz with baking soda

Ka’chava for breakfast Protein Drink Sardines and beets saladProtein jelloFreshly fit mealProtein drink

I will eat this for 4 days and back to 72 hours dry.

Now for an extended fast like the other person I would break them with chicken, steak, pretty much whatever I wanted. Even had some cookies once. But I wasn’t concerned with gaining the weight back. I am also very accustomed to dry fasting.

Now that I don’t wanna gain the weight back I am following what a user did after 11 days dry fast.

First day: 3oz of water every hour for 4 hours. And 8 oz with baking soda

Second day 8oz of water ever hour with broth in between. No sodium for 4 hours.

Third day is when she went back to normal eating. She said she only regained 3 pounds.

Haha hope I don’t cave a drink a gallon like I did last time.

If you are concerned with disturbing your digestive system, broth no sodium, water, ginger tea, and take it easy. Not too much. Then add in some meat. Research will prove what the other user said: apparently veggies are harsh on the digestive system after a fast if you aren’t accustomed it. Me? I just take l-carnitine with some kefir and it wakes up my digestion unlike anything else.
