Answer

50lbs is my goal weight loss but so far I’ve lost 30lbs

It took me three months to lose 20 I’m hopeful by the end of December I will be at my goal weight.

The best advice is to keep going. And don’t look at it as a race. It took you years to gain weight and you shouldn’t compare yourself to others progress or you will set yourself up for failure. And if you fall off the wagon you can always reset and start again! Good luck in your IF journey

Answer

6 months to lose 50.

6 weeks to lose the first 20.

I did keto and IF.

My best advice is discipline > motivation. Habits developed over time are going to be far more impactful than finding “motivation” to do something. Discipline is there when motivation deserts you.

Answer

2 months to loose 20lb, 6.5 months for 50lb. I’m currently at 80lb lost after 11 months, still got 10lb to go to reach my GW.

I’ve aimed to loose 2lb/week, with vacations and being sick slowing me down at time.

Answer

I’ve been doing IF for 3 months. Was on 16:8 and have switched to 18:6 the past 2 weeks. I’ve lost 22 lbs! Aiming for 1.5 lbs/week.

Clean fasting has been key for me. I didn’t realize that diet soda was a no-no during fasting hours.

Also reading Fast, Feast, Repeat by Gin Stephens and Obesity Code by Jason Fung has really helped. And this sub!!

Answer

It took me 5 weeks to lose the first 20, but I also had just stopped breastfeeding so I think my hormones figuring themselves out helped a bit.

I’ve reached 34 lbs lost so probably a couple more months to get to 50lbs.

Answer

It took me 3 months to lose 30 pounds. I have tried to keep intermittent fasting as uncomplicated as possible. I eat OMAD and adhere to water, coffee and black tea. I eat what I can reasonably fit on a 10.5” dinner plate. I don’t count calories or carbs because I want complete sustainability. I’m 67M with 30 pounds to go.
