Good Morning Everyone! I just wanted to share a story about my weight loss with you in the hope that you guys can relate and hopefully be inspired! I started the year off at 309 lbs even. It was the heaviest I have ever been and it scared me because I did not want to die early or become diabetic. I get married in October so I wanted to really make some strong efforts towards my goals. I completed a 40 day fast combined with low intensity exercises and small weights and as of this morning weigh 259.2 lbs. I also set up a website and blog for those that are interested in learning about my journey! I know that people can achieve amazing things, I watch them on here every day. I hope everyone does great things and I thank everyone on here for their help and support! Here is to the next 50!!
Congratulations. I just read your experience and hope you can continue.
A few questions
Why did you decide chicken noodle soup?
What vitamins where you taking, did they upset your stomach, why does it seem you stopped taking them?
Did you exercise and if you did what kind and how much?
Ty for the response. I found the nutrition of the campbells condensed soup (without noodles) on the my fitness pal app. 2 nights ago. I don’t remember the nutrition but the whole can went to 80 calories
I’m about to start a 40 day fast for Lent (6 days fasting M-Sat and “feasting” every Sunday from Ash Wednesday until Easter). The longest water fast I’ve accomplished is 5 days, so I’m super nervous. I needed to read this post today- it’s exactly the encouragement I needed. Well done! I’ll be following your journey.
Not knocking you, but your 40 day log shows you had soup every day, which is not a 40 day fast but rather a mega low calorie OMAD. Just for those of you reading this, it was not a 40 day “fast”.
GREAT work though, sincerely! I also follow this method and have seen great results. Fasting is great but its difficult. I also found that can of low sodium soup takes the edge off and 150-170 cal a day is absolutely nothing in the big picture so keep it up!
Are extended fasts practical if you have a lot going on? Like I worry about pooping myself because everything is liquid or passing out in public when I’m running errands. Your dedication is incredible, super impressed and inspired!
