How does the Liver King get pass eating 3oz of beef liver 1-2 times a day?

This guy Liver King has been eating 3 ounces of liver everyday, sometimes twice a day as you see in his everyday stories. It is recommended to only eat 3-6 ounces of liver a week. How does he eat that amount of liver everyday without getting an overdose in certain vitamins and minerals, namely vitamin A?

Well first, just because he isn’t showing visible symptoms of an unhealthy diet doesn’t mean his body isn’t experiencing issues.

Second, the liver is the least of his worries when he’s almost certainly taking heaping amounts of steroids.

Follow up question, whatever health issues it may cause in humans probably applies to dogs too, right? My mom feeds her dog chicken liver almost exclusively and I’ve always thought it was pretty gross (smelly) and unnecessary and maybe not well-rounded nutritionally, but could it be actively very bad for him?

Don’t listen to Instagram gurus for nutrition, first all he clearly is on substances and also not all negative effects are immediate, eating processed meat won’t instantly give you colon cancer but you’re gonna be at higher risk of getting it after a few years

3oz a day = 21oz a week … this amount is nothing excessive. I usually eat a 16oz slab of calf liver once a week. Unless you’re eating polar bear liver, instances of vitamin A overdoses are mostly from supplements, not whole foods.

it’s actually not that much considering his lifestyle. liver has a lot of vitamin a but as far as I remember u need to take like the 50x amount of the recommendation for months to see notable side effects and they are gone once u just stop eating liver

It could all be marketing stuff he’s doing to gain followers and means of money. You just see what he wants to show on camera, but you’ll never actually see what he eats or does to achieve his physique.
